I’ve never really been much of a fan of The Matrix and its sequels. It’s not that they’re bad movies, rather it’s just that the whole Christ-allegory thing has been repeated so many times in film that it’s just rather boring now. Despite my lack of enthusiasm for the Wachowski brothers’ big opus, I did find this send-up of the franchise funny. Then again, I think anything that points out the inexorable lameness of pokes fun at Microsoft Windows™ is hilarious. To wit:
I love it when Hollywood goes for all-out realism like this.
