Linksploitation: Perpetually-Behind Edition

Great Caeser’s ghost! I sure am behind on my link dumpage this week. I choose to blame the economy – hey, that works for everybody else, so why not me?
- I’m sure at some level you could make the argument that AC/DC publishing their new video via Microsoft Excel represents some sort of subversive skulduggery. I tend to think it just means that someone was lame enough to get shafted with yet another Office license. Boo.
- Reason #2,909,122 why I would never buy something off of QVC and yet watch it with bated breath.
- OK, so Obama Girl seems a little bit crazy, even for a a viral celebrity.
- Speaking of our president-elect, I knew there was a reason I voted for that dude.
- Oh, and while I’m at it, what the hell is this?
- Most. Brilliantly cynical graffiti. Ever.
- You simply never know when this brief how-to will come in handy.
- Even though I’m relieved that the election’s over, now I kind of can’t wait for the next one, if for no other reason than I want to print off about a thousand of these stickers and hand them out at the polls.
- It turns out that the animation backgrounds from Disney classics are kind of creepy but also kind of beautiful. Kind of like me, huh?
- You want to know why Raquel Welch is the bee’s knees? I give you this masterwork and confidently rest my case.
- I will personally give $50 to the first person to bake a batch of these bad boys and hand them out to anti-choice people in front of a women’s health clinic. They have to be frosted, though – just because people are fucking lunatics doesn’t mean you can skimp.
- I realize that the fact that this site makes me laugh hysterically pretty much dooms me to being regarded as someone with a fourteen year-old’s sense of humor, but that’s all right: it’s totally worth it.
- Before I go, two quick celebrity tidbits: even though I don’t think much of her, I feel like personally calling Gwyneth Paltrow and begging her to never wear this abomination again; also, why is the woman on the cover of Britney Spears’ new record clearly not Britney Spears?
