Linksploitation: Fear-Itself Edition

Here we are in the home stretch of the election, and we’ve yet to see the the GOP’s October surprise. That leads me to believe one of two things: either there’s not going to be one, or there was one but it was so lame that no one noticed. In any case, here are some silly links to click on while we wait for the other shoe to drop:
- Truthful TV title cards. They do what they say: they say what they do.
- It’s good to know that the brianiacs over at Der Google have a sense of humor, particularly in their GMail division. First Mail Goggles and now an emoticon set featuring a pile-of-shit icon? Don’t be evil, lads, but stay classy.
- I know I shouldn’t knock the treacly dating-service-as-GSA-application-screening eHarmony, since I have friends who’ve apparently used it with much success, but I can’t help but chuckle at this bit of satire.
- Upon reading this fairly humorous and oddly sweet piece penned by ex-Guns n’ Roses bassist Duff McKagen, two questions immediately came to mind. Duff McKagen is still alive? And he can read and write???
- There is not enough acid in the world for this old Muppet Show clip to seem at all normal.
- Aside from the fact that my mother plays professionally and basically sucks all of the fun out of the game, here is the other reason I don’t play Scrabble with my family.
- With so many sources for viewing boobies on the inter-webs these days, do we really need a site devoted to the best breasts immortalized on pinball game enclosures? Apparently so.
- Dammit, someone stole my idea!
- Why, Governor Palin, you tart!
- OK, it’s not quite as weird as this thing, but I Love You Sarah Palin does take some time to bend the mind around.
