Don Rumsfeld, that illustrious Pentagon poet, once famously quipped:

“There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don’t know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don’t know we don’t know.”

I like to think that Rummy’s meandering, oratorical bullshit-parade is perhaps the most fitting way to introduce this bizarre series of vaguely-related near-non-sequitors, strung together into an oddly haunting little piece of video art.
